Epperson is obviously a very solid athlete, with good size, nice quickness and the ability to get off the floor and finish strong. His shot was a bit streaky at times, but he heated up occasionally and looked very good stroking the ball from the perimeter. Epperson’s ball-handling is just average at this point, but he will have the ability to create his own shot at the highest levels once he adds some more polish to his all-around game.
Not having the type of exposure that most high-major Division I prospects do, Epperson is on the outside looking in at the moment, but will get his chances to make a team both this summer and down the road through summer league. He’ll probably make plenty of money initially overseas as an impact scorer.

Epperson from Pro Camp to France
Charleville-Mézières and Rodney Epperson..
.... agreed terms today. This means that the Dominican small forward will switch from Los Minas in the Dominican Republic to France. After scouting his athleticism and shot ability at the Court Side Pro Camp in Frankfurt, Germany, a couple of weeks ago, Coach Nikola Antic decided to recruit him to for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. Rodney had two great scoring seasons during his brief college career. He posted 14 ppg and 4 rpg with St John's during the 2004-2005 season. The following year he averaged 24 points and 8 rebounds with Moutain State (NAIA) in the 2005-2006 season.
Outlook:
A very promising multi-dimensional player, who can play in 2, 3 and 4 positions. Needs to improve his defensive skills.
